Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information QikLists 2.0 collects from people who visit qiklists2.com or join the waitlist, what we do with it, and the choices you have. Plain language first; legal precision second.

1. Who we are

QikLists 2.0 is operated by FKV LLC ("we," "us," "our"). For privacy questions or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at quincy@qiklists.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Email address — when you join the waitlist on qiklists2.com.
• Account information — if you later sign up as a paying QikLists 2.0 subscriber, we'll collect your name, billing details (handled by Stripe — we never see your full card number), and any preferences you set inside the product. That collection is governed by the QikLists 2.0 Terms of Service and a more detailed in-product privacy notice presented at signup.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type, and the page you visited. This is used for security and uptime monitoring.
• No third-party advertising trackers, no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no cross-site cookies. We may add a privacy-respecting analytics tool (such as Plausible) in the future; if we do, this policy will be updated and the tool will be disclosed before it goes live.

3. How we use your information

• Confirm your waitlist signup (double opt-in email).
• Send you a welcome message and, occasionally, updates about QikLists 2.0 launch progress.
• Notify you when beta access opens and when general access becomes available.
• Respond to questions you send us.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We do not use your email for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

4. Who we share information with

We share the minimum information necessary with a small number of service providers ("processors"). Each is contractually bound to use the information only to deliver their service to us:

• Acumbamail (email delivery and waitlist list management) — receives your email address and subscription status. Acumbamail privacy policy.
• Cloudflare (website hosting, DNS, CDN, security) — receives standard request metadata. Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Stripe (payment processing, only if you become a paying subscriber) — handles your billing details. Stripe privacy policy.
• Resend (transactional email, such as password resets, only if you become a paying subscriber) — receives your email address and message content. Resend privacy policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QikLists 2.0, our users, or the public.

5. How long we keep your information

• Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe, or until 24 months after launch if you never become a subscriber — whichever comes first.
• Server logs: as long as Cloudflare retains them under its standard log retention (typically a few days to a few weeks).
• Subscriber account data: for the duration of your subscription, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes.

6. Your rights and choices

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
• Ask what we have on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email quincy@qiklists.com with the request.
• Opt out of any non-essential email communications while keeping your subscription active.

If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, etc.), those rights apply to you and we will honor them. We do not "sell" personal information as that term is defined under California law.

7. Children

QikLists 2.0 is a B2B product for Amazon resellers and is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email quincy@qiklists.com and we will delete it. Where stricter local laws apply (for example, a 16-year-old age threshold under GDPR for certain processing), we will honor those stricter rules.

8. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry consensus on how to interpret DNT signals, and we do not change our information-collection practices in response to them. You can still exercise the rights described in Section 6 regardless of any DNT signal your browser sends.

9. Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify waitlist subscribers by email before personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy. By using the Site, you acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur.

10. International transfers

We operate from the United States. If you visit our site from outside the US, information you provide is transferred to and processed in the US (and in the countries where our processors operate). Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information — encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted secrets, limited access, and security-conscious processors. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience an incident affecting your information, we'll notify you as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify waitlist subscribers by email. Continued use of the site after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
